I'm Wan Mahsuri Binti Wan Ahmad Kamal, a Malaysian sales and marketer turned founder, technologist, and lifelong builder. My journey spans over 30 years of experience leading change across multiple industries - from telecommunications and medical tourism to theme parks, edutainment, and now artificial intelligence.
I began my career in telecoms, spending a decade with Sapura-Nokia Telecommunications and Cyngus Technologies. In the mid 2000s, I pivoted into medical tourism, helping pioneer Malaysia's medical travel sector. After that I spent another decade promoting theme parks and attractions. As an active member of the Malaysian Tourism Industry, my passion led to significant recognition: I was selected twice as one of the Judges for the Malaysia Tourism Awards and appointed as an Assessor for Malaysia Tourism Excellence Business Certification.
My international recognition expanded through the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), where I served as a Board member, Vice-Chairman of the Hospitality Committee, and was nominated for Chairman. From there, my passion led me to edutainment, where I helped scale brands like KidZania Kuala Lumpur and served as CEO of Axis Xperience, bringing hands-on STEM education to thousands of young learners.
I currently serve as Executive Committee Member of the National STEM Associations Malaysia, helping empower industries through STEM in line with Industrial Revolution 4.0, while conducting free webinars on AI education as part of my volunteer work.
I am a Certified Generative AI Associate, Certified Generative AI Mastermind and recently graduated as a fellow of Hasan.VC Accelerator program Cohort 3 in which I won the Best Pitch Award.
Today, I'm channeling everything I've learned into my boldest chapter yet - as an AI startup founder.
